Why Huda Beauty’s Liquid Lips Have Made Me Question Buying Any Other Brand Ever Again

Lips, lips, lips. Within the past week or so I have really widened my lip product spectrum. I have been a lip gloss lover since I left the womb. But for whatever reason I get attached to products, and fall in and out of ruts when it comes to trying anything new. Between new product launches and my birthday last week I have some amazing new lippies to share with you!

Between the launch of the Kylie Cosmetics Vacation line and Jeffree Star’s Summer Chrome Collection, AND the release of the MorpheXJaclynHill palette; I’ve been a busy and VERY excited Bella. There are so so so many amazing new products out this summer that I cannot wait to continue to get and share with you!!

Last week, I purchased my first ever Kylie Cosmetics product. The Super Glitter Gloss (from her Vacation line) and holy guacamole this name does not lie; I purchased the shade, Glitz which is more of a champagne rose gold in comparison to the other color, Glitter which is a true orange gold. I have never applied any glitter to my lips with not only this amazing amount of kickback and pigment, but with this level of long wear. I wore this gloss on my birthday and it stayed on strong through a three course meal.

Now for Huda, another brand first of mine. My fabulous BFF, Semra, got these for my birthday! The Liquid Matte Minis, the Pink Edition have changed my life, well the life of my lips at least. I have more lines in my lips than the average person, so liquid lips appear even more dry and cracked on me; however, that is not the case with these at all. They are so light and truly LIQUIDY. They apply so evenly and true to color. These are another long lasting lip find from this month. I wore the shade “Socialite” to the city with my boyfriend on Saturday; between all of the excess eating at the Sugar Factory and a few extra stolen kisses (because he is the bestest and made my birthday weekend so so special), nothing made this lippie fade. So yes, this lippie is 100% kiss proof. I have never used anything like it before. I am already amped up to place another order with Huda Beauty to rack up some more colors in my collection. From top to bottom, the swatches are: Gossip Girl, Socialite, Icon, and Trophy Wife. This bundle also comes in a Nude Edition, a Red Edition and Brown Edition; all equally as beautiful.

Next, the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip glosses; I am very familiar with their glosses, but not these colors! Semra knows I love ABH and clearly knows my taste, she picked out St. Tropez (which I have been dying over in every instagram post I see it in) and Moon Jelly which is simply breath taking lol. These colors both apply and swatch amazingly, Moon Jelly can be subtly worn alone, or laid over any lip stick. St. Tropez has enough presence to wear alone; however, with richer colors such as this I always recommend a liner underneath.

I hope you enjoyed my little lip edit, theses colors and formulas have really shaken up my makeup vanity; I highly recommend all of them!!
