Striped Spring Transition Look

Striped Spring Transition Look

Yesterday I had a great day in Soho with my friend Julia, who doubles as my amazing photographer. This outfit is perfect for transitioning into spring (when the weather is on your side like yesterday). This Manhattan Dress by Likely, is SO thick that I was not phased at all by the strong city winds yesterday! Perfect for this time of year and comes in four or five colors. Likely Pink Manhattan Dress

Over this adorable Likely dress I layered this playful and SO unique Tie Dye Denim Jacket designed for you by the one and only, Free People.

I mean just look at it! It’s so boxy but somehow still flattering, the tie dye is so simple and
subtle but still makes a big statement. This jacket runs HUGE, and I mean HUGE! I got an xsmall and I could still fit my sister and a small animal in this thing with me! Which was great for this look because it balances out the tightness of my dress. In Free People I’m usually a small in everything, so I was glad I purchased this in stores and was able to try it on; because my usual size would have drowned out my dress completely.

Below are some more photos of this look, it is truly beautiful at every angle!

Accessory wise I finally broke out my Polly Backpack by See By Chloé. This mauvey, rosey pink is my new favorite color for this coming season (as you can see by my nail color as well)

See By Chloe

I have never been a big backpack person, even during my school years, I was that middle
school girl trying to shove her books into a Marc Jacobs tote (but it looked great). This Polly Backpack is definitely a game changer for me though, it has so many inner compartments AND its easy to get in and out of, which is a big selling point for me because that is my biggest pet peeve about backpacks. And for some smaller details, my sunglasses in the photos above are Betsy Johnson, old school from Nordstrom. My beaded necklace is also from Nordstrom, that I got SO many years ago, I believe in the Juniors section, they really do have the best bling there. My booties are Ivanka Trump and no longer available 🙁

Makeup wise it was a simple day. On a day like yesterday where I don’t feel like doing some crazy, dramatic look I default to my Naked one pallet. I wore toasted on my lid (my favorite color in this pallet) and buck in my crease. I wore my Azeredo Cosmetics lashes as always (use bella10 for 10% off at checkout). Face wise, I used my Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation for a great creamy coverage and the MAC Prolong Wear concealer, set with the Anastasia Contour kit. As always, I glossed up with the Glam Glow Gloss Lip Treatment which burnt the crap out of my lips but looked great so it was worth it lol.

I loved loved LOVED this look and I cannot wait for more spring outfits to come!! My favorite season and my favorite clothing!
