Snow days are a great time to catch up on some pampering. Below are some products I swear by for bath, face, hair and body. Bubble baths are great for cold, snowy days like today because they are relaxing and warm, AND they give you the perfect amount of time to cram in a few pampering activities at once. Run a bath, put a face mask on, load your hair up with coconut oil, dive into a good book, and don’t forget to moisturize after.
BATH: I swear by the Gloomaway™ Grapefruit Body Wash And Bubble Bath for creating the best bubbles and it smells oh so amazing! Sometimes I will even put a few drops of peppermint or rose oil into my bath water for a little extra scent and relaxation.
FACE: I’ll be honest, I have a face mask addiction, but my favorite mask recently has been the Kiehl’s ‘Turmeric & Cranberry Seed’ Energizing Radiance Masque. It leaves my skin with a beautiful glow, I love using it in the morning before putting my makeup on, it makes such a difference in my complexion.
The cranberry seeds are also a great exfoliant when removing the mask. This is definitely a must try if you are not already familiar with it 🙂
HAIR: Like always, I am a big advocate of using coconut oil in every aspect of your life, INCLUDING HAIR. However, I am also willing to admit that there are some other great products out there for deeply conditioning your hair. My favorite non coconut oil product is the Tigi Bed Head Color Goddess Miracle Treatment Mask. I use it in the shower 1-2 times a week, but its also great to put on dry hair (for full absorption) while relaxing in a bubble bath.
While soaking, exfoliating is always a great pass time. I have linked my favorite exfoliators below 🙂
After a bath and exfoliating, it’s always crucial to moisturize. Below are some of my favorite elixirs and lotions along with their matching scent.
Now for a non beauty related item, shown in my feature photo is Babe Walker’s hilarious novel, “White Girl Problems”. The title says it all, this book is so great and I can’t wait to read more of Babe Walker’s work. Check out more of her work on her website, here. This is the perfect kind of read for a relaxing beauty related day.
I hope you enjoyed my papering itinerary today:)
